Recycle
It's good for the environment and it's good for your art program. There are many art projects that you can make from recycled materials. Here are just a few.
Charlotte the example above is created from a small empty soda bottle. It's best to rub the outside of the plastic bottle with sandpaper to help the paint adhere to it. She floats! You can use examples like these to teach a little science also.
Cool Cat bobbling head doll was created from a recycled water bottle, a peat pot head, construction paper, and paint.
