Meeting at the Art Museum
Does looking at art, engaging in thoughtful discussion, and meeting new people create images of outdoor cafes and Paris museums?
The art museum experience is closer than you think.
Meet others who share your interests and learn something about art.
This unique online workshop teaches you how to look at some of the world's greatest art
museums right from your own computer. You will meet others and engage in thoughtful discussions while interacting
with people of similar interests. You will learn a simple vocabulary for talking about art even
if you have never visited an art museum.
In this class you will interact with others
through discussions, a group project, and fun art games. You will be able to test
your newly acquired art skills at your local art museum or gallery.
The workshop will also locate art museums in
your own neighborhood or surrounding community,
and discover the social events and volunteer opportunities
that are offered.
