ART TEACHER on the NET WORKSHOP

Starts November 12, 2007 (4 week workshop)

 

If you are like most Homeschool Parents you know the

importance of incorporating art and art history into your curriculum, but how?

Art for the Homeschool Parent gives practical tips, lesson plans,

and resources that make it easier to achieve your goals.

 

This 4 week workshop is entirely online and facilitated by an experienced

art professor. It provides an opportunity for networking with others

with your interests and an art expert.

 

The workshop will cover:

1. Art Across the Curriculum
2. Hands on fun, easy, and educational art lessons.
3. Local and National Art Resources
4. Literacy and the Visual Arts
5. Introducing Art History
6. Teaching Art to Your Child

 

The fee for the non-credit workshop is $35, which

includes enrollment in the 4 week workshop. 

 

Valerie Colston, M.A. is the developer and presenter of the

workshop.  She has been teaching art and art history classes for

several years in San Diego, California and online.  Her award winning

Art Teacher on the Net is visited by teachers around the world. 

Ms. Colston was among the paid art project consultants for the Wyland Foundation Oceans Teacher program.

She teaches 100 Art Ideas for Teachers at the University of California, San Diego Extension.  Professor Colston is writing an art book

that is scheduled to be released in January 2008.
