Bird Sketching and Listening Notebook

 

Materials Needed

Paper Notebook Folder filled with Plain White Paper
Pencil
Colored Pencils or Markers

 

Instructions

Watch and listen for birds in your neighborhood.  Take a field trip to a hiking trail and look for and listen to the various birds.  Observe birds outside your home in the morning and listen for sounds in the evening.  Draw and describe the sound of each of the birds you observe and record them in your Bird Sketching and Listening Journal.  You will find an interesting description of various birds and bird sounds at
